FAQ
No. Iron Men is a shared living, peer led sober home. Every resident will be expected to follow the rules and answer to the resident that has been appointed the House Captain. An Iron Men staff member will check in at the house daily at different times to check supplies, answer questions or manage any issues that arise.
The average stay in a sober living home is 6 to 18 months. We do not have strict timelines for moving on in your journey, but the goal is always to move on to independent living when you are confident in your sobriety. We can help you connect with local resources that will help you with your transition when the time comes.
We have limited off street parking at our Onota St location. Whether or not we have room for you to park your car on site will depend on how many other residents already park vehicles there. We will address the current parking situation at your intake assessment. You will need to have a valid driver's license and provide copies of your vehicle registration and insurance.
Yes, all residents must be in the house Sun-Thurs between the hours of 11:00 pm and6:00 am and Friday-Sat from midnight to 6:00 am. Exceptions can be made for work schedules only with prior authorization from the house manager. If you are coming in later with approval from the house manager, you must be respectful of other residents and keep your movements and noise to a minimum.
